Brantford Aquatic Club offers FREE Rookie Camp

By: Jocelyn Jay - Aug. 23, 2010 Brantford Aquatic Club (BAC) offers FREE Rookie Camp The Brantford Aquatic Club will be running a FREE Rookie Camp for any child interested in the swim club at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre. You don’t have to be a great swimmer to get started. Our entry level programs are specifically designed for swimmers who enjoy the water and can complete a length of a 25 meter pool unassisted. The emphasis of the club is on establishing proper stroke technique in a fun and challenging environment. If you love to swim and are ready to take the next step up from a lesson program, the Brantford Aquatic Club is the way to go. A one-hour technical workshop and assessment will be offered for 10 & Under swimmers on Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 5-6 pm and for 11 & Over swimmers on Friday, September 3, 2010 from 5:00-6:00 pm. At this time, all swimmers will be placed within the club structure and will be given registration information, if interested. If you are interested in signing your child up, please email brantfordaquaticclub@yahoo.ca with your child’s name and birthdate and they will be added to the list.
