The final day of pool competition found Muise and Paulins qualify for finals in the 400 free. Paulins also finished 17th in the 200 IM with a lifetime best by 4+ seconds. In finals, Paulins finished 4th in a personal best time by over a second, and Muise finished just out of the medals with a lifetime best of 4:09.86. A fantastic night by both!
Day 4 found Marc Muise swimming to a lifetime best in the 100 back finishing in 16th. Muise also finished 12th in the 200 free. Alex Paulins finished 15th in the 200 free with a lifetime best.
Day 3 - Alex Paulins swam to a lifetime best and first Age Group Champs final ever in a 2:20.51. His swim broke an approximately 22 year old club record by just under a second. In finals, Paulins broke his record again with an 8th place finish in a time of 2:19.81. Paulins also finished in 8th with a 20 second drop in the 800 free and 27th in the 50 free with another lifetime best. Marc Muise finished 12th in the 50 free and 7th in the 800 free.
Day 2 brought another final swim for Marc Muise, finishing 7th in the 100 free with another lifetime best of 54.57. Alex Paulins dropped 5+ seconds in the 400 IM finishing 13th overall.
Day 1 saw Marc Muise qualify for his first Age Group Champs final ever in the 200 back and finish 4th in the 1500 freestyle. With a total 3+ second drop in the 200 back, he brought home an 8th place finish. Alex Paulins finished 8th in the 1500 freestyle.
